New Member Talks
Pete Wolkin, together with his mom Andy Clay, runs the Mt Baker Care Center - http://www.mtbakercarecenter.com , the only family-owned assisted living center in Bellingham.  It founded in 1990’s.  Pete is lucky to get to be a coworker with his girlfriend, Tracey Jaeger, a certified nurse at MBCC.  Pete serves on the board of Sustainable Connections (which is now striving to help Bellingham win the $5M Georgetown Energy Prize - https://guep.org). Pete also serves on the board of Brigid Collins House - http://www.brigidcollins.org (which has just purchased a new housing support center in Skagit County).  Pete is glad to be in Rotary.

Guy Occhiogrosso is President and CEO of the Bellingham / Whatcom Chamber of Commerce - https://bellingham.com.  There is no “correct” pronunciation of his last name - just improvise and you will be fine.  Guy spent the first 23 years of his life in Westlake, Louisiana.  “Laissez the bon temps rouler!”.  Guy has been a local here for the last twelve years here in Bellingham, first as president of the Ferndale Chamber, now at Bellingham / Whatcom.  The Chamber is the voice of business in Bellingham and Whatcom County. It provides programs and events for the members, and facilitates dialog between business, government and the community. Guy is happy to be a part of our Rotary family!
