Heart of Play’s Mobile Museum rolls into communities with hands-on activities that invite kids (and grown-ups!) to explore, create, and play together — right where they live and learn. Designed by educators and parents, our programs invite children and families to explore, take risks, build confidence, and strengthen connections through joyful, screen-free play experiences. |

We hear frequently from Debbie Kiene with brief updates about Rotary Youth Exchange and other Rotary youth programs. Tomorrow, May 5, we’re dedicating our weekly meeting to going into depth about this important and popular program. We’ll have three speakers:
Felicity Dye, District 5050 Youth Service Director and a member of the Rotary Club of Bellingham (the Monday club); Louisa Chard, high school student, Youth Adventures in Leadership (YAIL) 2026 attendee sponsored by BBRC and short term exchange 2026 to France, who will share about her experience at YAIL; Janka Eszik, high school student and 2025-2026 long term exchange student from Hungary sponsored by the Rotary Club of Bellingham, who will share about her exchange as a student in the US. Youth exchange is a really impactful program and Felicity has given heart and soul for years and a gazillion hours. It really takes a village to run the RYE program, including behind the scenes.

We are a group of concerned citizens who seek a collaborative & open-minded approach to water resource issues in our county. With the legal process of water rights adjudication now underway, we share deep concern for the limited attention and action in our county in the face of critical water resource management issues beyond that scope |
