Bellingham Bay Rotary club members participated in the District 5050 "Epic Day of Service."  Pictures from trail and bridge maintenance with Whatcom Land Trust. On a very cold and rainy Saturday morning, there were 60 volunteers who showed up for this project, of which 27 were Rotarians from multiple clubs.

Rotary District 5050 and its 59 clubs will join together to be part of a global movement of action. This day of service will unite more than 2500 Rotary clubs, community members and partners across the globe in a single
day dedicated to making the world a better place.  Whatcom County Rotary Clubs will be working collaboratively on this project with community volunteers, parks department employees, as well as staff from the Whatcom Land Trust. The project involves rebuilding a footbridge and constructing two additional footbridges as well as the eradication of invasive species of plants. There will be opportunities for service no matter what your skill set or abilities are. All tools and equipment will be provided by the Whatcom Land Trust
