Bellingham Bay Rotary Club

We are the Bellingham Bay Rotary Club, also known as the "Tuesday Club.” Our members are dedicated to the Rotary motto “service above self.” We meet weekly to connect, plan service projects, and learn about organizations and key issues facing our community.

Our local contributions have impacted critical community resources, including Whatcom Hospice House, Bellingham Food Bank, Lydia House, and the development of the Bloedel-Donovan Park swim docks. Annually we provide small grants to local organizations. Recent recipients include Animals as Natural Therapy, Maple Alley Inn, Brigadoon Dogs, and the Assistance League.

We are also committed to empowering local youth by offering academic scholarships at Whatcom Community College, Bellingham Technical College, and Squalicum High School, as well as sponsoring a Student of the Month program and a Rotaract club at Squalicum High School.

On a global scale, we partner with other Rotary clubs to facilitate international student exchanges. Our service has included providing vital clean water, sanitation initiatives and building schools in Honduras, school restoration in Togo, and continuous financial backing for Rotary International’s global mission to eradicate polio.
