Flag Salute & Invocation by Patti Imhof

Visiting Rotarians: Ray George, Norm Vigre (both from Whatcom North)

Guests: Peter Charron, Mike Weisman (new voice of the Bellingham Bells).

Announcements:
  • Steve Kimberly said the federal sequestration is causing a $31K funding deficit for Northwest Youth Services.   Three members agreed to $1000 each in matching funds (Patti Imhof, Sarah Rothenbuehler, and Steve & Margie Kimberley).  Money raised during bucks in bay will go to this effort. (Note: $7,000 was raised today!)
  • Six people so far going to the upcoming District Assembly in April.
  • We currently have one person signed up for RYLA. We would like 2 or 3 more. RYLA will take place May 2-5, 2013 at Mt Baker Baptist Camp. Our club will cover the fee. Our club can sponsor up to four kids. Ages are 18-25.
